			Team
		</title>
		<paragraph>
			HMS consists of a professional staff of 13 including two principals, Charles B. Montgomery AIA, ASLA and Keith Steger AIA, CSI, who have a collective of over sixty years of project experience. We are fortunate enough to have exceedingly capable senior architects to lead projects and bring new management skills to the group. Over half of our staff are senior architects including eight registered architects and six LEED accredited professionals. We pride ourselves on the open interaction between a diverse group of architects. Our rejection of the standard office hierarchy has helped created an environment where creativity and responsible design have thrived. As a result, we feel fortunate to have a close-knit staff that has been with us for the better part of a decade.

			Sustainability
		</title>
		<paragraph>
			HMS Architects has been involved in the design and construction of a number of sustainable design and LEED projects. As a member firm of the US Green Building Council we are familiar with the LEED goals and requirements. We have six LEED certified professionals on staff, and a professional staff of eight licensed architects, all of whom have been involved in projects striving for LEED accreditation. HMS has the know-how and capability to go through the LEED certification in-house, rather than bringing in a consultant.
		</paragraph>
		<paragraph>
			We at HMS Architects understand the need for our buildings to be sustainable projects working in harmony with the environment. We have been working with our clients for years to implement sustainable designs for their projects. We have found that while some clients would like to achieve LEED certification they are apprehensive about the costs associated with “green” architecture and the cost of certification. Most of the sustainable solutions we have been implementing for our clients are accepted when we can quickly prove a cost benefit to our clients.
